This is the shorter, more focused version of our Ayurveda day – built for travellers who want the consultation itself, done properly. It begins the Sri Lankan way, with a cup of kola kenda, the green herbal porridge many households still drink at breakfast. Your doctor, registered with Sri Lanka’s Ayurvedic Medical Council, then reads your pulse with three fingers at the wrist, asks about sleep, appetite and digestion, and explains your constitution in plain language. Treatment – usually abhyanga and herbal steam – is matched to what the consultation finds, and you leave with a written plan of daily routines and foods to follow at home. If shirodhara or panchakarma would genuinely help, your doctor will tell you honestly that it belongs in a longer stay.
